Project Management
In recent years, project management has become an integral part of design and engineering process as more and more clients are demanding turnkey solutions to their process and automation needs. As a consequence, Paneltech are able to manage all aspects of a project. From initial surveys with the client to determine the requirements, design management and implementation, management of contractors and suppliers as well as integrated schedule and time management for the smooth implementation of a project within a main scheme. Our experience in this field has become quite broad due to the diverse of our own business. Recent projects in Qatar, Spain, Africa as well as locally have provided the opportunity for Paneltech to manage from the ground up. Starting at Civil and Ground works and ending up with training and handover, we have been involved on all levels.

As part of any project, the boundaries of responsibility must be clearly set out prior to the commencement of any work. For this reason, all proposed work would include a project management proposal that would detail the areas of responsibility to be covered and the requirements of both parties during the project.

Control System Design & Build
This area is core business to Paneltech as many years experience has been gained in the design and manufacture of custom control systems. In general, the control panel is the heart of any conveyance, power management or environmental management system and the effectiveness of the control is key to a reliable and efficient system.
Paneltech can either provide a control panel from customer specification and to customer required standards or can offer a turnkey solution, providing conceptual proposals, design, manufacture and installation.
All work is of the highest standard and is supported by the following documentation (where required):
This area of expertise is too wide to describe here so for more detailed information,

Automation
Automation, is the key to successful manufacturing in many industries and Paneltech can provide automation solutions to many of today's light industrial production facilities. These would include, assembly lines, for electrical appliances, small assemblies, small to medium batch machining facilities and automated test equipment.
Previous automation equipment has included pick and place systems, product transfer systems, semi and fully automated assembly and automated test and inspection equipment.

Fabrication and Welding
Our in-house fabrication workshop offers the design and manufacture of steel and pipe work. From small assembly parts to medium sized structures, our engineers can produce to very high standards. In support of this we have facilities available for surface preperation such a galvanising and various paint finishes.

Technical Documentation
As part of any project, documentation is the key to process and quality control. All projects undertaken by Paneltech are documented to a high standard, not only for the benefit of the client but to ensure that a project is completed effectively and efficiently with as few unforced errors or iterations as possible.
As part of our service portfolio, we can now offer technical documentation, work instructions and project management manuals to the client as a stand-alone 'product'. This could be particularly beneficial if a used piece of equipment is purchased with insufficient documentation or a new system needs to be specified and in-house resources are not available. It is also often the case that documentation is not followed through thoroughly during a project and Paneltech can provide additional focus on documentation at the critical stages and to produce all required documentation along the way.
PLC Programming
Paneltech have many years experience in PLC programming using Mitsubishi FX, Fxo and Fxon PLC's and the Siemens S7 200 series. Other systems used include Allen-Bradley, Omron and Telecontrol. We are able to write code for sequential and process control, data handling and MMI control. Again, all code is supported by a full documentation package, and unless agreed, no title or claim is retained by Paneltech on any code written.
Training
One of the most important issues in the successful implementation of any new piece of equipment or facility is training. Paneltech can provide structured training for all levels of personnel in most aspects of machine or facility management. These would include Operator training, Maintenance training, Management training, Quality control and documentation training and so on. This service can be provided on a one to one or group basis and can be carried out on or off site depending on the level of training required.
Site Installation
Site installation of equipment is split into two categories. The first is as a supporting resource for the implementation of Paneltech equipment to the client site and second as a service, providing expertise in the installation of third party equipment.
The first is usually a standard procedure in the supply of equipment by Paneltech and generally falls into the main contract of work. The second service however, enables the client to bring in resources for the implementation of new or relocated equipment and to co-ordinate with the client and equipment supplier without straining 'in house' resources. This can involve equipment evaluation, familiarisation as well as actual installation.
The network of resources available to Paneltech means that all aspects of installation can be catered for including civil work, utilities and handling, removing the worry of aligning all of these activities from the client.
