This page contains details and images of a recent project carried out by paneltech Systems in Spain.
The Brief for this project was to provide a diesel storage facility, which was to operate a compressor plant for a gas pipeline installation between Almeria, Spain and Algeria. The storage facility consisted of a 500 tonne tank facility, loading and unloading pump stations and a main control room. Paneltech was responsible for all electrical control and monitoring systems aswell as all associated fabrication. This included stairs, bridging sections, hand railing, pump stations and pipework. The project commenced in october 2007 and work commenced on site in March 2008. Paneltech had engineers on site for the duration of the project and the system has been working successfully since June 2008.
The plant is due to be decommissioned and relocated on completion of the gas pipeline installation.
