Qatar 2006 Portfolio
This page contains details and images of a previous project carried out by Paneltech, on a bitumen storage faciltity in Qatar.
Following several visits to Qatar to determine the client's requirements, a 2000 tonne storage facility including emulsion and PMB plant was designed and proposed. The project team was headed up by TEC Equipment Sales Ltd, based in Worthing and design work carried out by Harpspring Designs. Paneltech was responsible for the design of the entire control system and pipework heating. These proposals were accepted and work started in January 2006. Site installation commenced in June and Paneltech had engineers on site for the duration of this project. We were responsible for pump and level control installation and commission, installation of trace heating for pipework and installation of the operations control room.
The site was completed in September 2006 and operations have been successful to date.
